welcome to network vineyard church

Network Vineyard Church is a group of people from all walks of life who are being transformed by Jesus. We are passionate to see the transforming power of God shape our lives and the lives of the communities we live in. We are a people who have found out that Jesus is real and we want to share that with the world.

When you visit, you will find that the experience is comprised of three elements: powerful worship, a life-changing message and transforming prayer ministry. All this in an informal environment where we can enjoy coffee, doughnuts, and other eats both before and after. There are also ongoing opportunities for engagement, ministry, home-groups and service throughout the week. We are definitely not a Sunday only church!

What about my children?

JAM (Jesus And Me), the children’s experience at NVC is designed uniquely for ages 0-11. While in JAM, your child will experience engaging age-appropriate teaching, music and activities all developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Christ. JAM is staffed by dedicated volunteers who have all been DBS checked.

What about Youth?

We have a thriving youth ministry from 11-18. We have Sunday groups that meet across both the meetins (the older youth join with us in the main worship).  Many of our youth stay for both services.  There are also youth groups which meet during the week which helps the youth deepen in their relationship with God and each other.  The youth ministry is dedicated to connecting the heart of the youth to the heart of God and bringing their friends in to also be transformed by the experience.  We do this through church based activities, social activities and using other youth ministries such as Soul Survivor and Urban Saints.

Commitment to the work and ministry of the church

The Bible clearly teaches the principle of giving, and money is just one demonstration of commitment to the work and ministry of the church to which we belong. We want to be a generous people, providing the church with the resources to do things well, as well as to demonstrate God's generosity outside this church in what we give away.

We believe Jesus affirms the Old Testament command to tithe to the church (Matthew 23:23-24 - a reasonable interpretation of that in today's world is to gift aid 10% of net income) and that as we do that in a spirit of generosity God will bless us.

"A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed." Proverbs 11:25 (ANIV)

For some of us, this may seem a frightening step. Jesus gives many reassurances on the point, "Do not worry. Your father in heaven knows what you need!" Matthew 6:31-33. God also says, "Test me in this." This is the only place in the bible where we are commanded to test God. If money is an area of worry for you, start with a smaller percentage and see if you are not blessed by God..." Malachi 3:10

For some people the issue is ownership - they feel the money belongs to them, yet the bible says, "The earth is the Lords and everything in it" Psalm 24:1. For others it seems too great a sacrifice, yet the sacrifice is what authenticates the heart of worship in the giver. King David in the Old Testament understood this; "I will not offer God sacrifices that are no sacrifice." 1 Chronicles 21:24 (MsgB). As Billy Graham once said, "If a person gets his attitude to money straight, it will help straighten out almost every other area of his life". We invite you to join us on an adventure of faith and counter-cultural living!
